One of my friends at Berry Home Centers saw this idea it and gave it to me. (Thanks Steve!!) It is called the alphabet workout. It’s a brilliant idea for a quick workout during this busy season.
I always challenge my clients to keep up their wellness routine during the holiday season. It is needed even more at this time to reduce stress, burn calories and improve our immune system.
Try and focus on relationships instead of the long list of things you need to accomplish.
I tweaked the original workout quite a bit to allow all fitness levels to participate. My challenge for you is to spell out Merry Christmas _______________, then insert your first name in the blank.
If you do this every day until Christmas Day then you will have a jump start on the New Year. You will also feel better, have more energy and probably be a lot nicer to your family members. Let me know what you think? All exercises can be modified to fit your current fitness level and they do not have to be done all at one time. Spread them out throughout the day. As always check with your physician before beginning any new exercise program.
